Verify the actual project
Begin with the confirmed location, site status and appointment. A city or development name does not establish site readiness or permission to proceed. Ask for current drawings, survey information and the list of appointed local professionals.
Assign the local interface
Agree who carries out measured checks, attends inspections and coordinates with the site team. Remote design reviews need reliable information and a clear record of decisions. Separate these reviews from statutory approval and contractor execution responsibilities.
Plan the supply journey
Check delivery access, secure storage, installation resources and the sequence of room readiness. Long-lead procurement should follow an approved specification and a realistic receiving plan. Freight dates alone do not explain when the interior will be ready for use.
Keep changes visible
Use a shared issue register and change log to connect design, supplier and site decisions. Record cost and programme implications before approval. At handover, identify outstanding work, warranties and the information the owner needs to operate the space.
Bring the right information
Share the project location, approximate area, current stage, available drawings, intended budget and target programme. We can use this information to define a useful first review and the scope of the next stage.
